Women and Leadership Australia scholarship applications open until June 16

Women and Leadership Australia (WLA) has launched a national initiative to support the development of female leaders across the country’s communications sector.

The initiative is providing women with grants to enable participation in a range of leadership development programs.

The leadership development programs are part-time and delivered nationally via WLA’s blended learning model.

Scholarship funding is limited and will be awarded based on a set of selection criteria being met.

“WLA has a vested interest in improving the communication sector, and our charter recognises the important and positive role that women can contribute as a result of increased participation, particularly at senior/executive levels within organisations,” a WLA spokesperson said.

Potential candidates can find out more and register their interest by completing the Expression of Interest form here prior to June 16, 2017:

Women in the communications sector are advised that a residual pool of scholarship funding is currently available to participate in a range of leadership development programs commencing in the second half of 2017.

The funding batch has been provisioned by WLA for this financial year and must be awarded by June 30.
