Why did your agency pursue Accreditation when it wasn’t mandatory?
TBWA is the Disruption Company. We believe brands today need creativity that disrupts conventions more than ever to drive transformational brand growth. To assist us in this endeavour, our team needs to operate at the highest standard of professional excellence, and our people and our clients need to feel they are supported with a genuine level of care. In a competitive industry, ACA Accreditation provides us with a public declaration that both signals how seriously we take our responsibility as an employer and agency partner, and a framework we can hold ourselves accountable to.
Describe one moment from the past year when your investment in your people’s wellbeing actually mattered.
Every year, we set aside a Friday and invest in our team with an annual garden party event – a dress-up, sit-down, three-course lunch and entertainment. Celebrating the year that was and thanking every single member of the agency for all their efforts, it is our team’s absolute favourite event of the year. Our staff feel valued, and our clients take delight in knowing the team they work with is shown well-deserved care and reward.
What would you want someone reading a job ad from your agency to understand about what Accreditation signals about how you run the place?
ACA accreditation signals TBWA’s ambition for excellence – excellence in our work, in our people and in our partnerships.
What would you say to an agency that hasn’t applied yet?
In an industry where top talent is constantly courted, and clients regularly review, demonstrating your commitment to rigorous standards around ethics, wellbeing and professional conduct should be a no-brainer.
