Why did your agency pursue Accreditation when it wasn’t mandatory?
Because it’s the right thing to do. As an independent agency, we believe independence should come with accountability. ACA Accreditation gives us an external benchmark for the standards we set ourselves, not only creatively and commercially, but in how we lead, develop and care for our people.
If we want to build an agency that lasts, we can’t mark our own homework.
Describe one moment from the past year when your investment in your people’s wellbeing actually mattered.
For us, wellbeing isn’t one initiative or moment; it always matters, and the work is never complete. It means continually finding better ways to connect with our people, understand what they’re experiencing and offer the right support. Sometimes that involves meaningful change; other times, it’s simply noticing, listening and being there when someone needs it.
What would you want someone reading a job ad from your agency to understand about what Accreditation signals about how you run the place?
It shows that we are always looking to improve and create an agency where people feel supported. We want to create genuine opportunities, help our people develop and build meaningful, lasting careers. ACA Accreditation holds us accountable to that ambition and ensures we continue listening, learning and finding better ways to support our people.
What would you say to an agency that hasn’t applied yet?
It will open your eyes to better ways of working.
