Advertising Council Australia (ACA) has officially opened jury nominations for 2026’s Spikes Asia and Cannes Lions Festivals of Creativity.
Eligible nominees include recognised leaders across advertising, audio, media, marketing, design, and more, as well as industry specialists, and those who have won Spikes, Lions, or other major global awards over the past three years.
Detailed jury criteria and categories can be found here, and the nomination form is now online.
Tony Hale, CEO, ACA, said: “Creativity is Australia’s most valuable export. We’re known globally for our innovation and craft, and this is a chance for leaders across disciplines, not just creatives, but also CEOs, client-side marketers, strategists and tech experts, to help shape the global benchmark for creativity.”
Lindsey Evans, 2025 Spikes Jury President, Creative Effectiveness and Creative Strategy, said: “Judging Spikes Asia was an incredibly rich and rewarding experience. The standard of the work, the judges, and the debate in the room, together with the organisation of the event, were second to none. The challenge of judging the ideas, thinking and role of creativity across such diverse markets and cultures was an extraordinary opportunity and one I am most grateful for personally and professionally.”
Aimee Buchanan, 2025 Media Lions Juror, said: “My jury experience opened my eyes to the calibre of media innovation, and made me proud of what Australian talent can bring to the stage. I’d encourage anyone at the top of their game to put their hand up. It’s a rare chance to contribute and learn.”
The Cannes Lions team will make the ultimate selection of jurors in all categories, ensuring that each jury is evenly balanced, with gender and ethnic diversity at the core.
Only jurors who are Australian residents can nominate via ACA, with nominations closing 5pm AEDT, Friday 26 September.
Cannes Lions takes place from 22–26 June 2026, while Spikes Asia judging will run from 7–12 March 2026 in Singapore.
