What to expect

JumpStart provides participants with a unique opportunity to explore real-life agencies; connect with and meet key people in the industry and provides an insight into all possible job roles and career paths within Advertising. By the end of it – you know exactly what you want to be and where you’d like to work!

The application process requires you to answer five simple questions. Show your authentic (sometimes creative) self here!

Shortlisted applicants are then invited to a Speed Date night with the participating agencies. Don’t be nervous, just bring confidence and enthusiasm.

From there, the final participants are chosen, and JumpStart begins!

The program runs on Tuesday afternoons over 8/ 9 weeks. Each week a different session and topic is hosted at a different agency. These sessions provide you with invaluable and practical learning and you’ll definitely learn things about the industry that you never knew! PLUS…you get to meet and network with key agency folk (and that’s a great way to get connected and be noticed!).

The program culminates in a half-day workshop, where groups work on a real client brief and then do their first pitch presentations to the client and a panel of esteemed judges.

There is a winning individual and a winning team chosen at the end and then we all head out to a celebratory finale dinner. Shew!
