Summary
Leveraging cultural awareness led us to incite overseas New Zealanders to vote with Every Kiwi Vote Counts provocative MEDDLE IN THE NEW ZEALAND ELECTION campaign. With a miniscule budget and diminished pool of prospects our campaign managed to achieve a remarkable outcome. Our earned media value was 10 times our paid media spend and the rate of overseas resident voter participation in the NZ election went up 42%, seeing the largest turnout in New Zealand history. So unlike in the US in 2016, Russians meddling had a profoundly positive democratic impact on the 2020 NZ elections.
