Case Study
Summary
This case study demonstrates how advertising helped recast foster care – bringing hope, vision and innocence back to a subject darkened by ignorance and fear.
With the launch of the ‘Conquer your fears’ campaign, recruitment targets were exceeded by 25% achieving 1,065 full applications and over 25,000 internet and phone enquiries - reversing the 10+ year trend of demand for care growing faster than supply. The unprecedented levels of interest has also helped fuel a carer pipeline for years to come – as active consideration is recognised as a crucial step towards committing to becoming a Carer - and helping a child thrive.
