Summary
The IKEA catalogue - key to IKEA’s sales success. With recall and retention slumping to record lows, a tough retail market and a reclusive shopper, something special was needed to excite and engage West and South Australians about the 2012 IKEA Catalogue. Introducing the first catalogue that pays to be in your home by renting the space it occupies. A compelling idea that was not only a unique new way to market the catalogue, but provided a platform to allow IKEA to encourage interaction with the catalogue year round – all while pushing the IKEA catalogue right to the front of people’s minds and smashing business and sales targets on the way.
