Ahead of the IPA Strategic Planning Residential this September we asked some of our speakers to tell us 3 things that people may not know about them … and their responses are sure to surprise you!

Speaker
Melina Hamilton, Strategy Director – Experiences, AnalogFolk

My session is on:
CX, UX & Channel – a new customer engagement approach that bypasses buzzwords and homogenised brand experiences.

Three things that people might not know about me …

  1. 1. People may not know that I’m a qualified florist. This is part of my retirement plan to get away from a desk and back to nature while staying connected to people’s stories and life moments.
  2. 2. I spent a year rebranding and refurbing pubs and bars when I lived in the UK. I learned that a good cup of tea can win favours on a construction site.
  3. 3. Finally, I almost chose a career in photography but then design seemed to offer more commercial opportunities. Eventually, it became a path towards strategy.
