Jumpstart: a mentored pathway to the Effie Awards

Following last year’s introduction of the Jumpstart category, we are again hosting an Effies Jumpstart Mentoring webinar on March 10 that will provide new entrants or those who haven’t entered since 2017, with all the information they need to submit a winning Effies Jumpstart submission.

The one-hour webinar will be hosted by ACA CEO Tony Hale, VMLY&R’s Chief Strategy Officer Ali Tilling, and The Monkeys Chief Strategy Officer Fabio Buresti, and will also provide tips for creating a culture that supports the development of a comprehensive Effies entry, and for writing an entry that has the potential to win gold.

We know that writing great Effie cases is never easy – in fact it can be altogether too daunting for many potential entrants who might feel they don’t have all the data to compete on a level playing field with more experienced Effie entrants who have featured regularly in the awards.

That’s why we launched the Jumpstart Mentoring Programme, put in place specifically to offer help and encouragement to potential entrants.

Jumpstart Mentoring Panel

Following the webinar, all prospective entrants in the Jumpstart category will be offered mentoring with a member of the Jumpstart Mentoring Panel, made up of Effie ‘greats’ whose knowledge and experience of writing winning Effie cases is legendary.
